The following is a traffic alert from Virginia Department of Transportation’s Salem district office:
On Monday, March 18, a lane closure will be in place on eastbound Route 114 in Montgomery County for work related to the Route 114 bridge replacement over the railroad tracks.
The lane will be closed from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Flaggers will control traffic. Drivers should use caution in the area.
