Mae Bell Hanks Chinault

Mae Bell Hanks Chinault, 63 of Wytheville, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013 in Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. Born in Grayson County, Feb. 10, 1950, she was the daughter of the late James Monroe and Alice Westmoreland Hanks. Also precding her in death was a daughter, Alice Wade. She was a member of the Peak Creek Mission of Prayer Church.

Surviving is her husband of 47 years, Raymond Elwood Chinault; sisters, Wanda and Bobby Southern and Jo Ann Owens; grandchildren, Thomas and Tori Wade; great-granddaughter, Maranda Wade, and a special friend, Frank Lesco.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 15, 1 p.m. from the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dale Akers officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
