Rochelle Weaver Dickenson, age 74, of Pulaski, passed away Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013.
Born June 18, 1938 in Tazewell County, she was the daughter of the late Virgil Roby Weaver and Ruby Helen Weaver. Her husband, William R. “Bill” Dickenson, and one brother, Steven Weaver, also preceded her in death.
Surviving are her children, Randy Dickenson and wife, Regina, of Pulaski, and Dee Sloe and husband, Mike, of Martinsville; three grandchildren, Tyler, Katie and Isaak Dickenson; sister, Karen Nabors, of Roanoke; brothers, Roger Weaver and wife, Carol, of Tazewell; Rick Weaver and wife, Susie, of Christiansburg; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 6, 1 p.m., at Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski, with the Rev. Mark Sexton officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Pulaski. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association – Blue Ridge of Virginia Chapter, 2728 Colonial Ave. Suite 2, Roanoke, VA 24015.
