Nancy Sue Bowman “Maw Maw” Edwards, age 64, of Pulaski, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Born July 26, 1948 in Pulaski County, she was the daughter of the late Stuart Conduff Bowman and Lillian Gertrude Snavley Bowman. Her husband, Arless Henry Edwards Sr. and one granddaughter, Brittany Dean preceded her in death. She was a former employee of Findlay Industries.
Surviving are her children and spouses,Lillian Marie Edwards Baker & husband, Tony, of Pulaski, Arless Henry Edwards Jr., of Pulaski,
Loretta Lynn Edwards Johnson & husband, Jeff, of Alleghany, N.C.,
Bobbie Jo Edwards Cassell & husband, Cory, of Pulaski, Brenda Edwards Dean & Todd Albano, of Pulaski, and Christie Lea Edwards, of Pulaski; one son-in-law, Joe Martin, of Pulaski; 15 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, four sisters and two brothers.
The Memorial service will be private for children and grandchildren, per Mrs. Edward’s request.
The family will receive friends Saturday, from 3 to 5 p.m. Feb. 2, at the home of her daughter, Brenda Edwards Dean, 1100 Prospect Avenue, Pulaski.
