Harrell case set for March

The embezzlement trail for Pulaski County High School Guidance Counselor Angelia Paige Harrell has been set for March.

Harrell is to be tried by a jury Monday, March 9, at 9 a.m. on three counts of embezzlement.

According to Virginia State Police Sgt. Michael Conroy, she is accused of diverting funds from the PCHS cheerleading program between March 2010 and October 2011, while she was head coach of the varsity squad.

All three charges are Class 4 felonies, each of which carries a possible sentence of two to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $100,000.

Virginia State Police handled the investigation.

    Bet it doesnt make it to court before a plea!
