UPDATE: Statement from Pulaski Police Department on school lock-down

Here is a statement from Pulaski Police Department Capt. Anthony Meredith on the school lock-down situation.

On January 8, 2013 at 0908 hours, the Pulaski Police Department was notified that a school in the Town of Pulaski had been put on lock-down due to an alleged threat.  The Pulaski Police Department and the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the allegations with the assistance of Radford City Police Department.  Pulaski County Schools are following their security protocols and law enforcement officials are currently present in all County schools pending further information.
