RADFORD – A 34-year-old Radford man is being held without bond at New River Valley Regional Jail in connection with the rape of a Pulaski woman in the city early Friday.
According to Radford Police Department Lt. Andy Wilburn, a 23-year-old Pulaski woman was raped while visiting friends. The incident occurred around 3:20 a.m. in the 600 block of Davis Street.
Shawn Emanuel Bonds was arrested without incident in connection with the alleged crime late Friday. He is charged with a single count of rape.
The woman’s name is being withheld due to the nature of the incident.
