RADFORD – A 34-year-old Radford man is being held without bond at New River Valley Regional Jail in connection with the rape of a Pulaski woman in the city e
arly Friday.
According to Radford Police Department Lt. Andy Wilburn, a 23-year-old Pulaski woman was raped while visiting friends. The incident occurred around 3:20 a.m. in the 600 block of Davis Street.
Shawn Emanuel Bonds was arrested without incident in connection with the alleged crime late Friday. He is charged with a single count of rape.
The woman’s name is being withheld due to the nature of the incident.

Is it common practice to allow an inmate the opportunity to wear their cool bandanas, their cubic zirconium earings and allow them the opportunity to look absolutly grimy during booking photos. if their gonna let him wear his “bwwwiinng” at least let him shower and shave a chance to get his composure befor gettin his best mean muggin look for the camera!
