The identities of two people involved in a Monday wreck on Route 100 have been released.
Dublin Police Department Lt. Dennis Lambert said the woman who died as a result of injuries received in the 4:15 p.m. wreck was 84-year-old Velma Bowman Horton of Hillsville. She was injured when her 2001 Buick turned in front of a 1999 Dodge pickup truck driven by Charles Lucas of Radford, according to police.
Lambert said a witness indicated Horton was northbound when she attempted to turn into a median crossover from the right northbound lane. The pickup was traveling in the left northbound lane.
