Meth lab investigated at Meadowview

Authoritieshave confirmed a methamphetamine lab raid at Meadowview Apartments in Pulaski early Wednesday afternoon.

Lt. Jason Robinson, with Virginia State Police Drug Enforcement Section (DES), confirmed the raid involved a methamphetamine lab, but he did not have further details as of Wednesday afternoon.

He said it was his understanding the lab was in a vehicle and search warrants were being obtained for the vehicle and an apartment. He indicated Pulaski Police Department had called DES for assistance.

 

According to a Meadowview resident, buildings 700 and 900 were evacuated. The 700 building was roped off with caution tape. Investigators were working the scene. No arrests have been confirmed at this time.

    Its just so hard to believe that a meth lab was found in Pulaski! Pulaski should consider a methadone clinic for the community so the explosive pre-cursor material wont have to be used. make it easier the access the drug! Wait…….
