You’re on your commute to work or school, you turn on the radio and that one song is playing that gets you in the groove, has you singing along and makes you want to move your body. That feeling you get is just days away, and you don’t need stereo sound either. These kids will give it to you live.
The Pulaski County High School Choral Department will present its winter concert Friday, Dec. 14, in the PCHS Little Theatre, at 7 p.m.
Classic Christmas tunes such as “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” “Let it Snow,” and “The First Noel” will be performed along with novelty selections such as “Sparklejollytwinklejingley” from the Broadway musical “Elf” and the big band tune “Hot Chocolate” from the movie “Polar Express.”
Remember the British duo Wham? Advanced Concert Choir will perform their ever-popular hit “Last Christmas.”
A concert wouldn’t be complete without participation from the audience. A carol sing-along with the audience and combined choirs will conclude the show.
According to choir director Angela Talbert, “It should be a night of fun and entertainment for everyone.”
The concert begins at 7, doors open at 6. Admission is free; however, donations to the Choral Department will be accepted at the door.
