Two drug charges filed against a former nurse at a Dublin rehabilitation center were certified to a grand jury Monday.

The charges against Melissa Broyles, 42, of Barren Springs were advanced to the next grand jury during a preliminary hearing in Pulaski County General District Court.

Broyles is charged with distribution of schedule II and schedule III drugs that police alleged were prescribed for patients at Highland Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Dublin. Broyles was employed as a licensed practical nurse at the center at the time of the alleged offenses.

Broyles was arrested in August after members of Claytor Lake Regional Drug Task Force executed a search warrant on her residence at 273 Harrigan Drive in Wythe County.
