Lola Virginia Blevins Frye

Lola Virginia Blevins Frye, age 87, of Pulaski, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012 in the Lewis Gale  Hospital, Salem.

Born Jan. 14, 1925 in Glade Spring, she was preceded in death by her parents, Issac Blevins and Nora Berry Blevins; her husband, Joseph “Joe” Bryan Frye Sr.; son-in-law, William Garnand, and eight sisters and brothers.

She was a member of the Pulaski Church of God for over 40 years.

Surviving are her daughter, Vivian Garnand of Roanoke; sons, Scott Frye of Radford and Joseph B. Frye and wife, Dianne Frye, of Shady Spring, W.Va.; grandchildren, Becki Hess Wildenberger and husband, Paul, Karie Geiss and husband, Joel, Stephanie Grant and husband, Greg, Carlee Frye, Tucker Frye, Daniel Frye and Micaela Frye, and great-grandchildren, Charlotte Grant, Isabell Geiss, and Conner and Elaina Wildenberger.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 22, , 11 a.m.,  at the Pulaski Church of God, Bob White Blvd., Pulaski, with Pastor Jerry Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 a.m. until service hour at the church.
