When Ryan Pelton performs as Elvis Presley at Pulaski Theatre this Friday night, it will be the last time anyone will see him perform as “The King” in Virginia.
Pelton confirmed Tuesday this will be the “farewell performance” for his Elvis act in Virginia. He added that he appreciates the loyal support Commonwealth residents have shown him over the years.
He is expected to elaborate on his decision during Friday’s show.
Judy Ison, director of Fine Arts Center for the New River Valley, said fewer than 50 tickets remain for the show, so anyone wishing to see Pelton’s Elvis performance one last time should get tickets now.
Pelton takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. Friday. For information on tickets, call the Fine Arts Center at 980-7363 or visit the theatre website at pulaskitheatre.org.
The show is a joint venture of the Fine Arts Center and Pulaski Theatre.
