Donald Calvin Hodge, age 56, of Pulaski passed away Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012 after a lengthy illness.
Born Sept. 16, 1956 in Wythe County, he was the son of the late Charlie Kyle Hodge and Virginia Pauline Snavely Hodge.
Mr. Hodge worked for Kollmorgan Corporation Inland Motors for 20-plus years before retiring in 2000. He enjoyed fishing, telling funny jokes and professional wrestling.
He is survived by his loving wife, Regina Jo Burris Hodge, of Pulaski; daughter, Rhonda D. Hodge, of Pulaski; sisters, Delorice Byrd and husband, Donald, of Ft. Chiswell and Jeraldine Hodge of Dublin; brothers, Charlie Kyle Hodge Jr. and wife, Vicky, of Dublin, Gary Wayne Hodge and wife, Anita, of Dublin and Ricky Hodge; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald and Wanda Martin of Pulaski; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the Family Worship Center for all their prayers and support throughout Calvin’s illness.
Memorial services will be held Friday, Dec. 14, 11 a.m., at the Family Worship Center, 955 Memorial Drive, Pulaski, with the Rev. Donald Byrd and the Rev. Donald Martin officiating.
The family will receive friends Friday from 10 a.m. until service hour at 11 at the church.
