Galax - The Cougar basketball team traveled to Galax Monday night and came away with their first road win of the season, winning 47-36 over the Maroon Tide.

Coach Mark Hanks said, “we came from behind tonight, and thats is a good sign for us. Anytime you go on the road and bring back a victory it’s good for the kids confidence.”
