One person was airlifted to a Roanoke hospital Sunday afternoon following a single-vehicle wreck on Rt. 100.
The approximately 3 p.m. wreck occurred when a Chevrolet Cavalier ran off the right side of the northbound lanes of Route 100, striking a guardrail and coming to rest in a field, about quarter mile south of the entrance to New River Valley Airport. The passenger was transported to LewisGale Hospital-Pulaski for treatment.
