A Pulaski County man was the subject of a two-hour manhunt Wednesday led by Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department.
According to police, at approximately 2:08 p.m., the Sheriff’s Department received a call from a concerned resident in the Flanagan Drive area of Christiansburg about a suspicious person. Upon officer arrival, the suspect fled on foot.
Over the course of the investigation, deputies identified the suspect as Michael David Lawson, a Pulaski man wanted on larceny and violation of court order in Pulaski County. According to Capt. Bradley St. Clair, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department, Lawson is the suspect of a stolen vehicle in Radford. St. Clair added, “Lawson will be facing additional charges in Montgomery County as a result of yesterday’s incident.”
Lawson was not found during the manhunt, however, if spotted residents should contact law enforcement immediately.
