Everything must go. A business liquidation auction will be held Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2 p.m., at Pulaski Retirement Community.

Refrigerators, efficiency stoves, coin operated washers and dryers, hot water heaters, office furniture, tools and hardware, beds and more will be auctioned. Items can be previewed at noon on Wednesday.

Jarrod Hines of Old Dominion Auction Co. said “the contents will be sold room by room.” All merchandise must be purchased and removed the same day. Those who have purchased items must “bring the help and equipment needed to remove their items,” said Hines. All items are sold as is and all sales are final.

It’s a perfect sale for property managers or those who have an assisted living business,” Hines said.

Visit www.olddominionauction.com or auctionzip.com for pictures of the merchandise.

Hines said Old Dominion Auction Co. is proud to have been selected to conduct an auction for a facility that has served the community for many years.

Pulaski Retirement Community is at 2401 Lee Highway, Pulaski, across from LewisGale Hospital-Pulaski.

I was browsing my company’s links on the SW Times website and saw this post. Allow me to explain the time and date of the auction.

We work for our clients and MUST obey their wishes. In this circumstance, the client requested that all merchandise be removed by the end of the day of the auction. Therefore, we were required to start early to provide time for the removal. Also, in our professional opinion, we believed that this auction would be more successful by conducting it during the week instead of that particular weekend and competing with all the local Saturday auctions. We were correct in our assumptions. We registered over 125 bidders and generated a HUGE return for our clients. They have since written us a formal “Thank You” letter praising us for our professionalism and performance.

Keep in mind that if you are unable to attend one of our auctions, we are more than happy to accept absentee bids and execute them for you during the auction. We try to provide all means necessary to allow all interested bidders to compete for the items they want.

We hope you will visit us at our gallery. We are located in the former Lowe’s building at 4697 Cleburne Blvd., Dublin, VA. You may reach me at 540-250-2964 at any time.

    Regards,
