Susie Mae Robinson

Susie Mae Robinson, 63, of Pulaski, died early Friday morning, June 29, 2012, in Heritage Hall Nursing Home, Blacksburg.

She was born in Montgomery County March 16, 1949 and was the daughter of the late Dave and Sally Forbes Robinson. She was the granddaughter of the late Maggie Forbes Harrison. She was a member of the Rockford United Methodist Church.

Surviving are three sisters, Catherine R. Dudley of Waynesboro, Shirley R. Cook of Pulaski and Annie R. Collins of Dublin, and two very special nieces, Kathy Reynolds of Christiansburg and Sandra Huffman of Virginia Beach.

A graveside service will be held Monday, July 2, 3 p.m., from the Hickman Cemetery, Pulaski County, with Pastor Jenny Thompkins officiating. The family will receive friends after the service from the cemetery.

Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski.

    She was my aunt and, she had 18 nieces – 10 nephews and countless great nieces and nephews. She had no children of her own, but she loved it when you brought your children, especially the babies, to her to visit. She loved to drink Cokes, eat chocolate, and have her nails painted red. She was beloved by everybody in her family, not just the “special” nieces.
