Roy Jefferson Bralley Jr.

Roy Jefferson Bralley Jr., 83, of Dublin, died Sunday, July 29, 2012, at his home.

He was born in Wythe County on May 5, 1929 and was the son of the late Roy J. Bralley Sr. and Annie Forrest Bralley. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Annie Ellen Clark Bralley; siblings, Frank (John) Bralley, Marcelle (Todd) Bralley and Patsy Bralley Reese, and two great-grandsons, Adam Carter Bralley and Aaron Mitchell Bralley.

Mr. Bralley retired from Klopman Mills with 36 years of service and went on to continue his working career for 10 years as a security officer for Volvo Truck Plant in Dublin.

Surviving are his sons, Roger Alan Bralley and Larry Wayne Bralley and wife, Sherri; grandsons, John Wayne Bralley and wife, Jennifer, Christopher (Chris) Alan Woodyard, Jared Ian Bralley and Nicholas (Nick) Alexander Bralley; granddaughter, Anita Beth England and husband, Rodney; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Paige England, Caleb Isaac England and Eliza Hope Bralley, and sisters, Virginia Bralley Anderson and Emma Bralley Taylor.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 1, at 1 p.m., at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.

Visiting will be today at Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m.
