Derek Dudding of New Castle was the feature winner in this year’s New River Valley Fair Demolition Derby, which was dominated by drivers from New Castle.
Six drivers won their heats to qualify for the feature contest, according to official results released by Nation-wide Demolition Derby. Second place in the feature went to Donnie Fisher, third went to Richard Dudding and fourth to Paul Welch Jr. All are from New Castle.
Other drivers qualifying for the feature were Jon Martin of Pulaski and Bobby Gillespie of Floyd.
Winners in the Compact heat were Macky Burton of Pearisburg, Brent Atwood of Rich Creek and Matt Studley of Madison, N.C.
