HILLSVILLE – Deborah Arlee Sowers, 52, of Hillsville, passed away Monday, July 9, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C.

She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Art Arnold, and nephew, Casey Frazier.

She is survived by her husband, Tony Maynard Sowers of the home; mother, Wilma White of Hillsville; three daughters and son-in-laws, Sandra and James Smith of Floyd, Stephanie and Britt Setliff of Galax and Tina and Harold Reedy of Hillsville; son, Jonathan Sowers of Hillsville; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Margie White of Austinville, Gilmer and Patsy White of Hillsville, Johnny and Robin White of Austinville and Barton White of Hillsville; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Diann Frazier of Hillsville, Carla and Doug Bolen of Austinville, Betty White of Hillsville, Pammie and Dooley Frazier of Austinville and Tammie Gallimore of Austinville; nine grandchildren, Billy Hall, Ashley Walls, Allison Hill, Kaitlyn Edmonds, Jared Smith, Brady Setliff, Cassidy Arnold, Javan Setliff and Andrew Reedy, and special aunt and best friend, Sue Perez of Wytheville.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 14, at 2 p.m. at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, with Pastors Jeff Pickett and Danny Beasley officiating. Burial will follow at White Spring Hill Lane Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, July 13, 6-8 p.m.
