NEW YORK, N.Y. – Gladys Huckstep Tankard formally of Pulaski, passed away May 20, 2007 at the age of 75 in New York City were she resided for over 50 years. She was born July 12, 1931 to the union of the late Willie A. and Lena Cockerham Huckstep. She was preceded in death by her husband Jay Tankard; three brothers, William D., Stanley C., and Marvin W. Huckstep; one sister, Charmese H. Carter all of Detroit, Mich. Gladys is survived by one sister Kay H. Brown of Pulaski and a host of other relatives and friends.
