William Joseph “Joe” Worrell, age 71, of Draper, passed away Friday, Jan. 27, 2012 at the LewisGale Hospital-Pulaski.
Born July 28, 1940 in Floyd, he was the son of the late Emmett Worrell and Renie Loraine Phibbs Schrader. One granddaughter, Sally Rose Worrell; one great-grandson, Michael Lee Richardson; one sister, Lucille Chinault, and two brothers, Jack Worrell and Jerry Worrell also preceded him in death.
Surviving are his wife, Doris “Jenny” Bowman Worrell of Draper; children, Sally and David Coburn of Pulaski, Bill and Becky Worrell of Pulaski, Wesley and Cathy Worrell of New Town, Terry Worrell and fiancé, Doris Trail of Dublin, Ronald and Katy Worrell of Martinburg, W.Va., Donald and Roseann Worrell of Blackstone, Clint and Pam Worrell of Pulaski, Steve and Starr Worrell of Pulaski, and Kenny and Regina Richardson of Unionville; 34 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; sister, Keri Lynn Schrader of Pulaski; brothers, James Worrell of Lawton, Okla. and Kelly Schrader Jr. of Florence, S.C., and sisters-in-law, Mae Worrell of Denton, Md. and Ruth Ann Worrell of Mt Airy, Md.
