Nannie Pearl Tolley Burton

Nannie Pearl Tolley Burton, age 92, of Dublin, passed away Friday, Nov. 25, 2011 in Highland Ridge Nursing Center, Dublin.

Born Jan. 06, 1919 in Rockbridge County, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Douglas Tolley and Ethel Mae Huffman Tolley. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters and a stepson. 

She is survived by her husband, Oakley Lawrence Burton of Dublin; children, Laurel Louise White Gibson and husband, Robert D., of Natural Bridge Station, Lanell White Ramsey and husband, Roger D., of Rutherfordton, N.C., Robert E. White and wife, June W., of Sherrills Ford, N.C., Mary W. Dice of Dublin, Darlene W. Edwards and husband, Michael O., of Christiansburg; nine grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 15 step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen T. Tolley of Natural Bridge Station, Martha T. Walker of Natural Bridge Station, and step-son, David Burton Sr. and Wanda Reed of Pulaski.
 

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski, with the Rev. Kathie Wilson-Parker officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 1 p.m. until service time.
