Nancy Smith Corbin, age 71 of Pulaski passed away Friday, June 11, 2010 at her home.
Born Feb. 13, 1939 in New Market, she was the daughter of the late Robert Wilson Smith and Frances Louise Minnick Vance. She also was preceded in death by a brother Robert Owens Smith and sister Jo Ann Elizabeth Anderson.
She was the manager of the Deli Mart in Pulaski.
Surviving are her husband Frank Danny Corbin of Pulaski; children Kimberly Ann Wright of Christiansburg, Francine Mitchell and husband David of Westerville, Ohio, Daniel Keith Corbin of Winchester, Cindy Strickley of Winchester and George C. Johnson of Winchester; grandchildren Harley R. Wright, Daniel John Wright, Angie Mitchell, Brittany Marie Mitchell, Casey Nicole Mitchell and Destinee Michelle Mitchell, Tara Jo Strickley, Jessica Corbin, and Danielle Corbin; two great grandchildren Kadin Kemp and Braylon Carr; sisters Evelyn Jean Cooke of Charlotte, N.C. and Becky Belford of Winchester; half sisters Shirley Ann Barnhart of Martinsburg, W.Va. and Bobby Ann Hostler of Winchester; and half brother Clyde Vance Jr. of Winchester.
Memorial funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski, with Rev. Tom Rice officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Carillion Hospice Services, 707 Randolph St., Radford, VA 24301.
