Helen Elizabeth Ferguson Quesenberry, 79 of Blacksburg passed away Sunday, May 30th, 2010 at Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, Tenn.
She was born in Rich Creek on August 27, 1930 and was the daughter of the late William F. and Maude Allen Ferguson. In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Jane Mullins; a sister, Louise Jones; and a brother, Richard Ferguson.
Helen was a former employee of Jefferson Mills in Pulaski with over thirty years service, as well as a sales associate with Heironimus in Blacksburg.
She is survived by a son, Tony Mullins of Blacksburg; two daughters, Linda and Doug McGlothlin of Narrows, and Patricia and Darrell McGlothlin of Honaker, Virginia; five grandchildren, Brian McGlothlin and wife Susan, Brad McGlothlin and wife Sarah, all of Narrows, Cory McGlothlin and wife Brooke of Botetourt, Craig McGlothlin and wife Kalina, Josh McGlothlin and wife Sarah, all of Honaker; six great-grandchildren, Cota, Matt, Abby, Aidan, Max, and Sam McGlothlin; several nieces, nephews and cousins, many special friends; and a special companion, her dog Tanner.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 2 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Riffe’s Funeral Service in Narrows with Rev. Jerry Sawyers officiating. Burial will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Rich Creek. The family will receive friends at Riffe’s Funeral Service Wednesday from noon until just prior to the service.
