Radford City Police Department is seeking two men in connection with a shooting that occurred Tuesday night.
According to Radford police Sgt. Chris Caldwell, officers responded to reports of gunshots being fire in the area of Second Street and Forest Avenue in the City of Radford at approximately 10:42 p.m. Tuesday evening. Upon arriving, police located a male who had been assaulted. The victim reported that during the assault shots had been fired at him and that one of the bullets had grazed him.
The victim was treated for minor injuries, including the grazing gun shot wound, and later released from the hospital, Caldwell said.
The suspects in this incident are described as a black male between the ages of 18-21, standing 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10 with short hair or a shaved head, wearing a hoodie; and a white male, standing 6-foot-4 to 6-foot-5 wearing a big jacket and jeans.
A white female is also reported to have remained in the suspects’ vehicle, described as a silver or grey four-door sedan.
The shooting is not believed to be connected to a shooting that occurred last week, according to Caldwell.
