Freeda Faye Bowman O’Dell

Freeda Faye Bowman O’Dell, age 65 of Snowville passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2010 in the New River Valley Medical Center. Born April 10, 1944 in Pulaski, she was the daughter of the late Cossie Lester Bowman and Larmie Elsie Pack Bowman. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Curtis Lester Bowman and one sister, Haver Louise Lephew. She was employed at Hutchinson Sealing Company in Wytheville with over 18 years of service. Freeda was a Pulaski County School bus driver for a number of years in the Snowville area. She will be greatly missed.
Surviving: Husband of 48 years Phillip Elwood O’Dell, Snowville; Daughter and Son-in-law Jennifer “Jenny” O’Dell Whitlow and William Ray Whitlow, Shiloh; One Grandson William Noah Whitlow, Sisters and Brothers-in-law Connie and Johnnie Dean, Greensboro, NC, Ann and Dewey Dean, Greensboro, NC, Marie Rorrer and Robert Graham, Pulaski and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday 2:00 p.m. in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Frank Clifton officiating. Interment will follow in the Cecil’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Snowville. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.
