Melva Mae Smith Wade

Melva Mae Smith Wade, age 77 of Pulaski passed away Thursday, February 4, 2010 at her home.
Born May 22, 1932 in Pulaski she was the daughter of the late William Thurman Smith, Sr. & Lelia Bain Smith. Her husband; Riner Burtis Wade, Sr., three sisters and two brothers also preceded her in death.
She was a retired dietary supervisor at the Pulaski Community Hospital with 22 years of service. She was a member of the Max Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving Children: Riner Burtis Wade, Jr. & wife, Patsy-Pulaski; Patsy Blevins & husband, Richard-Pulaski; Linda Gail Lawson-Snowville; Donna D. Hall-Pulaski; Kathy Hight-Dublin; Phillip D. & Lisa R. Wade-Pulaski; 14 Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren; Sister Daphna Edwards-Delton; Brothers Neville Smith-Pulaski; Bobby Smith-Miss.; and Very Special Pet Muffin Baby.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Monday at the Max Creek Baptist Church, Pulaski with Pastor Mike Coleman & Ersel Alderman officiating. Interment will follow at the Hufford Cemetery (Mt.
