Norman Eugene Craft

Norman Eugene "Corky" Craft, 59, of Pulaski, VA died on Friday, January 15, 2010 after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Lowmoor, VA to the late Leonard Eugene Craft and the late Lorraine Smith Huffman. He was the owner of New River Valley Insurance and loved servicing his clients until his recent disability. Corky is survived by his soul mate and loving wife, Cindy. He is also survived by a son, Matthew Craft, step-daughter Dana and Yancey Ruble, step-son Danny and Sherry Hazelwood, step-son Troy Hazelwood and Holly, Grandson Drew Craft and Grandson Brian Lawson and Andrea, Granddaughter Lexie Ruble, grandson Nicholas Ruble and Sebastian Ruble, and granddaughters Brianna and Savannah Hazelwood. In addition Corky’s wonderful family, sister’s Joyce and Wade Hayslett, sister Debbie Fischer, sister Susie Kelley, brother Buster Craft and Lisa, sister Cathy and Chris Leitch, sister Bobbie and Berkley Garrett, brother Michael and Maggie Craft and brother Darrell Wayne and Kim Craft, also great-granddaughters Maggie and Makaya. He was so loved and had many cousins, aunts, and uncles, especially Peanut.
Funeral services were held 7:00 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2010 from the First United Methodist Church, Pulaski, VA. The family received friends Sunday at the church fom 5:00 p.m. until service hour. A graveside service was held Monday, January 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery in Rocky Mount, Va.
