County worker pleads guilty to 5 charges

A former Pulaski County employee charged with embezzling from her church has pleaded guilty to five of nine charges filed against her.
Patricia Wilson will be sentenced April 7 on the charges to which she pleaded guilty.
The remaining four charges were nolle prosequi (not prosecuted with the option to refile).
Prosecutors said Wilson converted to her personal use more than $160,000 from Memorial Christian Church in Draper from 2006 to 2009.
Wilson resigned her position as a deputy commissioner with Pulaski County Commissioner of the Revenue’s office April 17 after being arrested on the charges.
According to Pulaski County Sheriff Jim Davis, a preliminary investigation found that no county funds were involved.
