Mary Alice Reedy-Pitts, age 83 of Pulaski and formerly of Woodbridge, Virginia, died Friday December 25, 2009 at her Pulaski residence. She was born January 6, 1926 in Nelson County, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Patti Thompson Wills and John Broadus Wills. She and her husband owned and operated Lynwood “66” Service Station on Route #1 in Woodbridge, Virginia from 1957-1988. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Francis Reedy, and a son, David Gavin Reedy. She is survived by two sons: John Herman Reedy and his wife Georgie of Draper, Virginia, and Thomas Gene Reedy and his wife Kathy of Saltillo, Mississippi: a daughter; Frances Louise Sullivan and her husband Claude of Pulaski: a brother; John Broadus Wills, Jr. and his wife Bernice of Fawn Lake in Spotsylvania, Virginia: a sister; Faye Frances Quesenberry of Fairfax, Virginia. Also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday December 30, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Fairfax Memorial Park in Fairfax, Virginia. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the Mountain Valley Hospice or to the Alzheimers Association.
