Helen Marie Dishon Quesenberry, age 82 of Snowville passed away Thursday, Dec. 24, 2009.
Born April 5, 1927 in Pulaski County, she was the daughter of the late Roy Freeman Dishon and Loma Dallas Phillips Dishon. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Vance Quesenberry; one son, Paul Michael Quesenberry; one daughter-in-law, Mary Quesenberry; one grandson and wife, Ronnie and April Gusler; and one sister, Shannon Ruth Dishon.
She was a member of the Draper Primitive Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law Elaine and Estel Cox Jr. of Dublin and Loma and Ronald Gusler of Dublin; son Robert “Sandy” Quesenberry of Dublin; eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; five sisters and brothers-in-law Mozelle Duncan of Snowville, Nancy and Ray Owens of Dublin, Joyce and Shirley Cox of Snowville, Linda Boyd of Floyd, and Patricia Cox- Snowville; brothers and sisters-in-law Bill and Ina Dishon of Ft. Collins, Colo., Conley and Janet Dishon of Snowville, Donald Dishon of Dublin, Leslie and Peggy Dishon of Riner, Lacy and Dot Dishon of Dublin, Merle and Tracy Dishon of Snowville, and Buddy and Elizabeth Dishon of Snowville; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday Dec. 28, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Elder Melvin McGrady and Elder Ruben Hawks officiating. Interment will follow in the Dishon Cemetery, Snowville. The family will receive friends Sunday evening, 6-8 p.m. at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski
