Helen Lemons Stanley, age 92 of Pulaski, died early Sunday morning December 6, 2009 in Pulaski Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 5, 1917 in Pulaski and was the daughter of the late Maude Chinault Lemons and Lennie Clinton Lemons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Moncure Stanley and two brothers, Talmadge Lemons and Aulden E. “Red” Lemons. She was a sales clerk at Peoples Drug Store for many years, a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church where she sang in the Chancel Choir and was also a charter member of the Business and Professional Women’s Club of Pulaski. She is survived by many special nieces and newphews. Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday December 8, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Hugh Kilgore officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday morning at Seagle Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. The family wishes that memorial contributions be made in Helen’s memory to the First United Methodist Church, Pulaski.
