Pulaski Alliance, Dublin Lions set Christmas craft shows

Christmas is just around the corner, so Greater Pulaski Alliance and Dublin Lions Club are gearing up for their annual Christmas craft shows.
Both organizations have assigned all of their booths to vendors, so shoppers should be able to find a variety of items for holiday decorating or gifting.
Warren Morris said the 17th Annual Lions Club Christmas Craft Show is Saturday, Nov. 7 and Sunday, Nov. 8 in the Wysor and Farris buildings at New River Valley Fairgrounds.
The show runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
In addition to a variety of “Christmas-associated” craft and gift items, Morris said packaged baked goods are to be sold.
This is the first year food and beverages will be available for shoppers to eat on-site. Community Christian Church of Newbern will be selling hotdogs, sodas and snacks both days.
All proceeds from the event go to the Lions Club’s eyeglasses and hearing aids program.
On Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 14-15, Greater Pulaski Alliance will hold its Third Annual Pulaski Christmas Craft Show in the Central Gym on West Main Street in Pulaski.
Besides offering a variety of crafts for holiday decorating or gifts, shoppers also will be able to register for a chance to win a free turkey.
The show runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
The winner of the turkey will be notified on Monday, Nov. 16.
Food and refreshments will be available.
Central Gym is located in the County Administration Building between Third and West Main streets in downtown Pulaski.
