Jesse Elmer Worrell

Jesse Elmer Worrell, age 78 of Pulaski passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at the Pulaski Community Hospital.
Born April 26, 1931 in Wythe County, he was the son of the late Jesse Elmer Worrell and Emma Lou Grimes Worrell Chrisley. His stepfather, John Henry Chrisley and sister; Mary Helen Asbury also preceded him in death.
He retired from Hercules with 30 years of service and was a volunteer for the Pulaski Fire Department for 38 years. He was a member of the Draper’s Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years Margie Friend Worrell-Pulaski; daughters & son-in-law Carolyn Worrell-Pulaski; Connie & Joseph Raposo-Daytona Beach, FL; Coretta Worrell-Daytona Beach, FL; Brothers William “Bill” Chrisley-Dublin; Howard “Spud” Chrisley-Max Meadows; Sisters & Brothers-in-law Chris & Chuck Boles-Harrisonburg, VA; Emily & Rick Ancik-Suwanee, GA; Darlene & Jeff Davison-Harrisonburg, VA; Brother & Sister-in-law Billy Joe & Arlene Friend-Port Orange, FL; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday at the Draper’s Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Pastor Mike Ingo officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Friday evening before the service. Interment will be Saturday at 1:00 P.M. at the Draper’s Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.
