Martha Eamigh Stevens, 92, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord, Friday, November 13, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raleigh and Matilda Osborne Campbell, husbands, Ernest Eamigh and Earl Stevens; and her brothers and sisters. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughter, Shelba Polson and husband Karl of Pulaski; grandchildren, John Booth and wife Delia of Christiansburg; Patti Grummett and husband Les of Enfield, Conn; Mark Booth and wife Tammy of New Castle; eight great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren; sister, Madge Franklin of New Castle; special friend, Hazel Sabal of Roanoke and numerous nieces and nephews. The family suggests that memorials be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, the Gideons, or the Salvation Army. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Emmanuel Baptist Church 625 Churchland Road N.W. by the Rev. Ron Buchanan. Interment will follow in Fair View Cemetery.
