ALTA OWEN FAGG

ALTA OWEN FAGG, age 94 of Pulaski, died Monday afternoon November 2, 2009 in Highland Ridge Rehabilitation Center. She was born March 5, 1915 in Pulaski County, and was the daughter of the late Laura Ellen Turpin Owen and Burlie Royal Owen. She was a member of the Jordans Chapel United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Daniel Fagg, brothers, Ralph Owen, Bruce Owen, Arthur David Owen, Burlie Bascom Owen, Roy Patton Owen, John Douglas Owen, and Everett Clyde Owen: sisters; Helen Owen Farmer and Ella Owen Buckland. She is survived by her daughter; Debra Ann Fagg of Radford, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday evening November 5, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Seagle Funeral Home with the Rev. Douglas Farmer officiating. A private interment will be held in Thornspring Cemetery on Friday. The family will receive friends Thursday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Flowers will be appreciated, but for those who wish, they may make memorial contributions in her memory to the Jordans Chapel United Methodist Church Building Fund or the Jordans Chapel United Methodist Women “Feed My Lambs” backpack fund.
