Town looking for vendors for Pulaskifest

If you’re an artist, craftsman or food vendor, the Town of Pulaski is looking for you.
The town still has spaces available for vendors at its annual Pulaskifest celebration to be held Saturday, Oct. 3 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The festival is held in Jackson Park in downtown Pulaski, across from the Municipal Building on First Street.
Vendors spaces are 10-foot by 10-foot and cost $25 each. Additional spaces may be leased at a cost of $5 each and electricity also is available for a flat fee of $5.
Vending categories include foods and beverages, commercial items, handmade arts and crafts, nursery plants, and business or organization booths. No yard sale items are allowed in the vendor area, but they may be sold at the flea market sponsored by Greater Pulaski Alliance, 994-4200.
Application forms may be obtained on the town website, www.pulaskitown.org, or from the town.
For more information, contact Barbara Tate or Marion Wojcik at 540-994-8627 or Trish Cruise at 540-994-8600.
Vendors are required to supply their own electrical cords (rated for outdoor use), tents, tables, chairs and other equipment needed in their booth.
Unless there is inclement weather, all vendors are asked to stay for the entire event.
In addition to vendors, the festival will feature musical and other types of entertainment, local authors, a farmers market, flea market, free health clinics, and much more. Pulaskifest 2009 is sponsored by the Town of Pulaski, Coffee Buy The Book, CWI Media & Marketing, Anderson & Associates, Crabtree Associates, and BB&T.
