Lord’s Acre Sale Saturday

Churches from throughout Pulaski County will come together at the New River Valley Fairgrounds this weekend for the annual Lord’s Acre Sale.
The sale, which promotes Christian fellowship and helps raise money for mission projects and local ministries, will be held Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Devotions will be held at 8:15 p.m.
The public is invited to come out and enjoy the day, which will include gospel performances and a silent auction, in addition to the usual homemade crafts and foods for sale.
The Shiloh Church Youth Booth will hold a silent auction to benefit the Lord’s Acre Association, annual sponsors of the Lord’s Acre Sale. Items to be auctioned include coach- and player-autographed official Virginia Tech women’s and men’s basketballs; an official Virginia Tech football autographed by the team coaches; and a one-day pontoon rental courtesy of Conrad Brothers Marina.
The gospel singing will include performances by the Singing Nippers, Domino Trio, the Dave Pauley Singers and other groups from churches throughout the New River Valley.

At least 10 percent of all sales will be donated to area ministries and mission projects.
