Mary Etta Goff Lovern, age 77, of Barren Springs passed away Thursday, September 3, 2009. She was born June 23, 1932 in Kentucky, daughter of the late Henderson and Lenna Marie Polly Goff. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Edward Lovern; three brothers, Clifford Goff, Clinton Goff and Gene Goff; three sisters, Lake Erie, Lorraine Goff and Ethel Robinson. She was a member of Mountain View Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She is survived by: her husband, Claude Edward Lovern of the home;
seven children, James David Lovern of Barren Springs, Linda McKinley of Ivanhoe, Allen Jeffrey Lovern of Max Meadows, Donald Lovern, Audrey Martin of Arizona, Chris Lovern of Buffalo, NY. Nathan Lovern of Rural Retreat; two sisters, Bonnie Hinkley of Dublin, Loretta Wright of Radford; two brothers, Earl Goff of Piney, Clancy Goff of Texas; 22 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 6, 2009 at 3 p.m. at the Mountain View Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Jesse Walker, Jr. officiating.
Interment will follow in Hickman Cemetery, Radford.
The body will be taken to the church where the family will receive friends Sunday from 2 p.m. until service time.
