Lago pleads guilty to larceny

Thanks to a plea agreement, a Fairlawn man who received 25 years in prison in connection with three larcenies will have to serve less than half of the sentence.
Scott Alan Lago pleaded guilty last week to three counts of felony grand larceny in connection with Sept. 29 break-ins at Pulaski County businesses, including Shelor Motor Mile Speedway.
A fourth charge of petit larceny was not prosecuted, but the Commonwealth has the option to re-file it.
Lago faced a maximum of 20 years in prison on each of the charges to which he pleaded guilty. However, under the agreement all but ten years was suspended. He will be placed on five years of supervised probation upon release from prison.
