Mary Ruth Furrow, 69, of 3122 Old Baltimore Road in Draper died Saturday night, July 25, 2009, in the Pulaski Community Hospital. She was born in Wilco, W.V. on May 4, 1940. She was preceded in death by her father, William M. Crisp, Sr., Dublin, her mother, Margaret Gill Crisp Hale, Dublin, and her step-father, Lee W. Hale. Furrow was a member of the Memorial Christian Church, Draper, and a retired employee of Pulaski Community Hospital.
Surviving are: brother and sister-in-law, William M. Crisp, Jr. and Lorene, Pulaski; children and spouses, William M. and Kecia Furrow, Austinville, Malcolm L. Furrow, Draper, Deborah R. and William Rothausen, Draper; father of her children, Malcolm S. Furrow and his wife, Dorothy, Grottoes, Va.; grandchildren and spouse, Brittani S. Furrow, Pulaski, Paul Kale and Lauren Cheek, King George, Va., Robert E. Reynolds, Draper; step-grandchildren, Richie Reynolds, Pulaski, Wendy Reynolds, Pulaski, Kambri Meadows, Marion; nieces, Cherron Martin, Pulaski, Connie Slaughter, Pulaski.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 2 p.m. from the Memorial Christian Church, Draper, with Rev. Johnny Howlett officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visiting will be Tuesday evening at the church where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m.
