Glenn "Peanut" Albert Worrell, age 76 of Pulaski, died late Monday evening July 20, 2009 in Pulaski Community Hospital. He was born August 8, 1932 in Pulaski County, and was the son of the late Laura Hollins Worrell and James Fountain Worrell. His life-long passion was driving a cab, and was retired from TNT Cab Company in Pulaski. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Danny Lee Worrell and a brother, Burgess Worrell. He is survived by his wife, Irene Hughett Worrell of Pulaski: two sons; Michael Gene Worrell and his wife Debbie of Draper, and Donald Wayne Worrell and his wife Faye of Durham, NC: three daughters; Lucy Marie Dalton and her husband Leon of Pulaski, Della Sue (Susie) Worrell of Pulaski, and Elizabeth (Libby) W. Wilson of Roanoke: two brothers; Bud Worrell of Durham, NC, and Lewis Worrell of Bedford: a sister, Mary W. Robinson of NC. Also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Thursday July 23, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons with the Rev. Randy Winn officiating. Interment will be private.
