Carl Roy Allison, of Pulaski VA. son of the late Thornton and Macie Gunter Allison, and wife of fifty years, Sonya O’Dell Allison, just entered the gates of heaven to walk on streets of gold, put his feet in the soft grass, and crystal waters with his two children Benny and Shanna, after living on this earth 73 years, after a long illness and a hard fought battle with cancer. Left to grieve the loss of his love and guidance, son and daughter-in-law Scott and Debbie, daughter and son-in-law Robyn and Jeff. Six grand-daughters Cristina, Trisha, Chelsi, Jonna, Kristen, and Victoria. Three Grandsons, Eric, Brent, and Zachary. Eight great grandsons and three great grand-daughters. Three brothers Donnie, Harold, and Gilmer. Two sisters Martha Ann
and Mildred. Carl kept a lot of people around warm and cool as he had his ownheating and air business for more than thirty eight
years. He was a long time member of the Bob White Blvd. Church of God.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 8:00 p.m. from the Bob White Blvd. Church of God with the Rev. Jerry Collins officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from the church where the family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until the service hour. A graveside service will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. from the Allison cemetery, Allisonia VA. with Pulaski V.F.W. Post #1184 conducting the military graveside rites.
