Wilson’s fate now in hands of Grand Jury

Embezzlement charges were certified to a grand jury Monday against a former Pulaski County employee accused of taking money from her church.
The charges against Patricia Wilson will now be sent to a Pulaski County Grand Jury, which will decide whether enough evidence exits to hold a trial in Circuit Court.
Wilson is charged with two counts of embezzlement of funds from Memorial Christian Church in Draper.
Wilson resigned her position as a deputy commissioner with Pulaski County Commissioner of the Revenue’s office April 17 after being arrested.
According to Pulaski County Sheriff Jim Davis, a preliminary investigation found that no county funds were involved.
Earlier, Davis said the investigation is continuing and additional charges are pending.
