No injuries in Saturday collision

No injuries were reported Saturday when two vehicles collided on Route 100, south of Dublin.
Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office Cpl. Stuart J. Nelson said the 1:34 p.m. wreck occurred when a Ford pickup truck crossing Route 100 was “t-boned” by a Chrysler Concord.
Nelson said the truck stopped at a stop sign on the Exit 98 ramp off southbound Interstate 81, then attempted to proceed south onto Route 100. As the truck started to cross the northbound lanes of Route 100, the driver of the truck apparently saw the Chrysler coming, but failed to get out of the car’s way in time to avoid a collision, the officer said.
Two people were in the truck and one was in the car. Nelson said the driver of the truck is from Suffolk and the other driver is from Roanoke.
Charges were filed against the pickup truck driver, according to Nelson. He declined to release the names of those involved in the wreck.
