Barbara Ann Burton Taylor

Barbara Ann Burton Taylor, 70, of 3780 Sayers Road, Draper, went home to be with her Lord Thursday, April 30, 2009. She was born in Pulaski on June 11, 1938 and was the daughter of the late David Monroe Burton and Nettie O’Dell Burton. She was also preceded in death by her son, Keith Taylor, brothers, Marvel Burton, Jack Burton and Thomas Burton and by sisters, Opal Burton, Eunice Sauer and Juanita Goad. Surviving are husband and love of her life, Denton Taylor, Draper; daughters and sons-in-law Brenda and Doug Jones, Greensboro, N.C, Renee and Jack Wilson, Fincastle, Lynn and Walter Reno, Draper; grandchildren and spouses Kevin and Melanie Jones, Greensboro, N.C., Jackie and Jake Saunders, Strasburg, Timothy and Amber Reno, Snowville; Amanda and Mike Lancaster, Queen Creek, AZ, Leslie Wilson, Fincastle, Erin Jones, Greensboro, N.C., Bradley Reno, Draper; Makenzie Reno, Draper; Bryan Reno, Draper; great grandchildren, Camden and Avery Saunders, Strasburg, Variety Lancaster, Queen Creek, AZ; sisters Marie Kingrea, Zenith Taylor, both of Pulaski.
Funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. May 3, 2009 from Stevens Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Butcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Christian Church Cemetery, Draper. Visiting was held Saturday from the funeral home where the family received friends from 6 until 8 p.m.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. D’Amico, Tina Hoback, Good Samaritan Hospice, Pulaski Hospital and friends. Her family celebrates her Christian life and know she is resting in her heavenly home.
